Ihre Aufgabe

  • Numerical simulation of mechanical components in process plant components, focusing on linear and non-linear analyses, fatigue design, thermo-mechanical fatigue and creep analyses, fracture mechanics
  • Optimization of process equipment at design stage and during plant operation in cooperation with other departments
  • Development of appropriate calculation methods and support of research activities related to structural mechanics
  • Development of expert process equipment design tools, improvement and maintenance of available tools
  • Investigation on technical challenges during plant operation (troubleshooting)
  • Presentation of results and modelling approaches to internal and external clients and on conferences

Ihr Profil

  • About 5 years of related stress analysis engineering work
  • Very good knowledge in finite element calculation, especially in ANSYS
  • Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis
  • Experience with ANSYS Mechanical and APDL/MAPDL
  • Experience with pressure vessel codes like ASME, EN13445
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Very good oral and written English skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with different customers and varying topics
