Ihre Aufgabe

  • preparation of plans for approval by shipowners, classification society and authorities based on the client's contract specifications
  • calculation and testing of insulation thicknesses, heat transfer coefficients, dew-point measurement and surface temperatures
  • preparation of tender documents for supplier enquiries
  • tender evaluation, coordination with suppliers and preparation of decision proposals
  • coordination with other departments in the design department
  • technical coordination with shipowners, suppliers and the classification society to ensure compliance with the ship contract
  • construction supervision, technical preparation of submission to customers, classification society and authorities

Ihr Profil

  • a technical degree as bachelor or master or an equivalent educational background
  • professional experience in shipbuilding and interior design
  • additional knowledge of other technical fields would be an advantage, e.g. windows, doors, locking systems
  • knowledge of common software, e.g. MS Office and AutoCAD
  • English is essential, additional knowledge of German would be an advantage
  • able to work under pressure, good communicator and teamplayer
